Clearance Certificate — an instrument issued by GMI confirming that funds, counterparties, and source-of-wealth documentation have been reviewed and meet international compliance standards for cross-border movement.
OFAC-blocked funds — assets frozen pursuant to sanctions administered by the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control. Release typically requires a specific license and supporting documentation that GMI assists in compiling.
Quota — a member jurisdiction's financial contribution to GMI, which determines voting power and access to financing.
Surveillance — GMI's regular assessment of economic and financial developments at the global, regional, and country level.
